INDICATION:
DECTIPRID FOR CATS is used for the prevention and treatment of in vivo and
ectoparasite infections, prevention of flea infection (cat fleas), treatment of
ear mite infection, treatment of gastrointestinal nematode infection (adults,
immature adults, and L4 larvae), prevention of heart filaria (L3 and L4 larvae
of canine filaria) and can assist in the treatment of allergic dermatitis
caused by fleas.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Hold the pipette in an upright position, twist, and pull the cap off. To
prevent licking, skin administration was limited to the posterior neck of the
cat. Spread the animal hairs in the area between the shoulder blades to make
the skin visible. Put the tip of the pipette onto the skin and press the
unit-dose pipette several times to empty its contents directly onto the skin at
one or two spots. Dosing once monthly during prophylaxis or treatment.
