Antibacterial (Aminoglycoside) + Adsorbents
FORMULATION:
Each 5 mL contains:
Kaolin ........................................... 375 mg
Neomycin (as Sulfate) ................ 50 mg
Pectin ........................................... 25 mg
INDICATION:
For treatment of diarrhea and toxicities associated with bacteria susceptible
to Neomycin.
CONTRAINDICATION:
- Do not
use the combination product that includes bismuth subsalicylate in cats.
- Do not
use in pets hypersensitive (allergic) to it.
- Do not
use it to control severe diarrhea.
PRECAUTION:
- Use
Kaolin/Pectin cautiously in very old, very young, pregnant, nursing, and
debilitated pets.
- Shake
well before use
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Given orally through dosage syringes or stomach tubes
FOR DOGS AND CATS
2.5 kg is to 1 mL 3 times a day for 7 days
